Stillmark Note is built so that your notes never leave your device unless you send them somewhere yourself. This policy explains what that means, for the app and for this website.

##What the app collects

Nothing. Stillmark Note has no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no accounts and no servers. The developer never receives your notes or any information about how you use the app.

##Where your notes live

Your notes are plain Markdown files in the app's folder on your device (Files › On My iPhone › Stillmark Note). Version history, the trash (kept for 30 days) and the search index stay in the app's private storage on the same device.

##Copies you choose to make

Automatic Backup copies your notes to a folder you pick, such as iCloud Drive or a USB drive; if that folder is synced by a cloud service, that service's terms apply. Exports and notes you share go wherever you send them. Your device's own iCloud or computer backups are handled by Apple.

##Permissions

Location is read only when you choose Add Location, and saved as coordinates in that note. The camera is used only to scan text into a note, and Photos only to add a picture you pick. Face ID unlocks locked folders and is handled entirely by iOS; the app never sees biometric data. Each permission is asked for the first time you use it and can be turned off in iOS Settings.

##Purchases

Purchases and downloads are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Apple may share anonymous sales figures and, if you agree to it in iOS Settings, crash reports with developers. These never include your notes.

##This website

stillmark.download is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, trackers, third-party fonts or scripts. Cloudflare processes standard connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.

##Children

Stillmark Note is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included.

##Your rights

Because the developer holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side; your notes are under your control on your device. This includes your rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

If this policy changes, this page and the date above will be updated.
